Our Storyworks project worked with young people across Inverclyde throughout 2024 & 2025, creating new stories using comics, card games, escape rooms, storybooks, storymaps and podcasts.
The sessions were provided FREE with the support of National Lottery Community Fund Young Start Programme and were delivered at community venues across Inverclyde, including libraries, community centres and after school clubs.

Multiverse Academy
Max finds a weird alien space cube and takes it to school to show his best friend Evie. When the school bell rings, the cube activates, and sends Max and Evie tumbling into an alternative dimension. In fact...every time the bell rings they shift dimension, so now they're battling to get home while hiding from the aliens who want their cube back.
Multiverse Academy is a 365 comic, created collaboratively in workshops throughout the project, and shared one panel at a time on our website and instagram. from April 2024 - March 2025. We're enjoying being experimental with this comic, with emroidered panels, stained glass and even an audiobook chapter, which you can listen to below.
Dread in the Basement
A survival horror Table Top Role Playing Game that you can play solo or with friends - all thats needed is a pencil and some dice.

A collection of completely made up folktales for you to read and share, featuring some of Inverclyde's more contemporary folklore.
Illustrated throughout by Louise Carr, who also delivered the workshops to help develop the stories with groups of Inverclyde young people.
